This hotel has one of the nicest beaches in Aruba. Overall, the hotel room is what I expected for the average Holiday Inn stay as far as look and cleanliness. The grounds and lobby area display a much classier/fancier resort style notch above your average Holiday Inn. There is no swim up bar in the swimming pool. We loved the hammocks that were on the grounds. The location was perfect for the shopping and dining in the surrounding area outside of the hotel. Everything was walking distance away. Excursions and water activities were right there on the beach. The casino area smells like cigarettes and looks and feels outdated. We booked a couples massage at the spa. It was not our best massage or spa experience we've ever had. They didn't use essential oils that I could tell/smell, and should have, because the face/head rest smelled musty. This was causing irritation in my wife's lungs during the massage and it was hard to relax. The spa was running 30 + minutes behind. This was a little unexpected and nerve racking because It was go home day for us which made it a tighter time crunch to get packed and grab a bite to eat before heading off to the airport. Over all, I would stay there again.
