No, I do not recommend this property.
The rooms at this hotel are run down and dirty. The sheets had stains and the floors had stains. I would never stay at this hotel EVER!
I have stayed at Crown Plazas before but this experience may keep me away.

Our family had an amazing, relaxing vacation at this resort. Our children; ages 7 and 9 have been to theme parks in Orlando, Anaheim and Hershey and they will tell you this was their most favorite vacation ever.
From the moment we were greeted at the guest desk, we felt welcome.
All rooms have an amazing view of the beach but ours happened to be in the middle so we had amazing views of the entire resort.
And, it truly feels like a resort. Except for a dolphin tour on the last day, we did not leave the property. You don't need to!
Our children are very shy around others and we are normally within an arms reach of them. The leadership at the resort is always present outside; where the guests are. You can't look around without seeing a friendly, helpful staff member. So, we actually allowed our children some freedom on this vacation and they joined many of the children activities; hula hooping, arts and crafts and XBOX games. My husband and I were able to relax on the beach while the kids felt like they were gaining some independence.
Each night there was a family friendly (current) movie. We went to every one of those.
We also were really entertained by the magic show.
Again, obviously, I can't say enough about this property and the management team. I have spent many years working for a large retailer where the customer is top priority so when I see someone else making the customer feel like they are number one, I know the value in that. We returned home more relaxed than we have ever been after a " family vacation" and we are already making plans for a return trip.

What is the process for renting beach chairs, towels, umbrellas etc.? Do I have to or can I bring my own?
There are towels available near the pool. Those are to only be allowed at the pool as the sand will cause harm to the hotel washer/dryer. There is no charge. You will need to give the pool attendant your room number and number of towels checking out. As you return the towels, you need to ensure you again give them your room number and number of towels so that your room is not charged for towels.
For beach chairs/umbrella's, that is done by an attendant down on the beach. My cost was $40 per day and that was charged to my room. I'm not sure if this cost fluctuates by season. You will need to bring your own beach towel or purchase one at the on property convenience store. There are also other stores in the area within walking distance.
