Yes, I recommend this property.

I was asked upon check in which Gulf Front room I would like. I opted for the most quiet location. I was appointed a Gulf View corner room on the 10th floor. I absolutely loved it!! Private entrance, away from elevator and ice machine , fantastic view, and very comfortable bed!!!!
The weather was horrible during my stay so I had all my meals through Rip Tide's. YUM!!!!! From breakfast to crab cakes to shrimp/fish/calamari and yes-cocktails!
The staff is awesome and very helpful!

Is there beach access from the hotel?

YES!!! You walk right out of the hotel, go through the pool area, over a wooden bridge and right on to the beach.

If you go through Island Time Shuttle, it's about $38-$40 1-way.

Is there transportation to and from the airport available?

Not through the hotel, but the staff can easily help you find a shuttle or cab. I personally only go through Island Time Shuttle. Always on time and very friendly!
